Критерии предельных состояний должны быть заданы в технической документации на железнодорожную технику.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The paper offers an approach to definition of a limit tolerance state of railway equipment based on the criterion that exploitation of an object on the basis of risk evaluation is unacceptable.
